West Clinic is one of the longest lasting and most trusted names in natural health care clinics in America. Established in 1916, we have developed a comprehensive system of health care services that are effective, comfortable, and long lasting. The Clinic, now in its fourth generation, continues to offer the same values of integrity, trust and respect to patients who come from all areas of the country as well as Pocatello and the surrounding area.

The Clinic was opened in 1916 by Dr. A. A. West, who quickly established a reputation as an effective, competent practitioner during the dreaded influenza epidemic of World War I.

He was joined in practice by his sons, Henry, in 1929 and Arthur in 1941. Together they expanded the services offered at the clinic from a chiropractic practice to include services such as X-ray and many physical therapy adjuncts. They included prescription grade natural vitamin and mineral protocols to the practice. The same quality natural medical supplies continue to be upgraded and are offered today with a completely stocked natural vitamin and mineral pharmacy that ships health care products all over the world. In 1961, Dr. Henry West, Jr. came into the practice. While maintaining a full time practice, he has also been an adjunct faculty member at four Chiropractic colleges and introduced into the practice the unique antigravity lumbar trunk cast. The cast has been applied to hundreds of patients and effectively prevents back surgery in approximately 80 per cent of cases. He has been active as President of the Idaho Association of Chiropractic Physicians twice and has also served on the state examining board. He has been President of the American Chiropractic Association and has lectured in the United States, Europe, and Australia in the application of the body jacket cast and bio resonance testing.

Dr. Jason West joined the practice as a chiropractic physician in 1999 with credentials as a licensed acupuncturist as well. His expertise has expanded services the clinic offers to include the intravenous application of natural vitamins and minerals. The injection of ozone into joints for the relief of pain and discomfort is yet another facet of natural health care that is included in services the clinic offers.

Our professional staff includes licensed professionals such as a registered nurse and a physical therapist. We are also pleased to have a licensed osteopath on staff.
